CALM

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. Our goal is a life less miserable – for you, your friends, your family and for all men. CALM has a free, anonymous and confidential helpline and webchat open every day, from 5pm–midnight) for men in crisis. We also campaign for long-term culture change with the ultimate goal of redefining and opening up perceptions of masculinity, so that over time fewer men will need CALM’s services at crisis point, but instead feel inspired to seek support in the earliest stages.
