The race will start at 09:30 and runners it will take up to an hour for thousands of runners to cross the start line.
If you plan to check baggage, please take note of the suggested arrival times below, based on your start pen letter (as shown on your race number).
Remember, there will be a number of road closures and diversions in place from 05:30. Please factor these into your travel plans (and those of any of your supporters, family and friends). And also check with https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/ to keep informed of any public transport updates and engineering works.
We recommend arriving at one of the following stations and following our signed walking routes to bag drop at Waterloo Place, SW1Y 5ER:
Piccadilly Circus Underground Station (Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines)
Charing Cross Underground & Mainline Station (Bakerloo and Northern line)
Local bus services operating in Central London may be subject to diversions from 05:30 onward, due to our road closures in the area for the event. For further information on bus travel on race day, please visit www.tfl.gov.uk in the week leading up to the event.
Please note that there are no specific cycle parking facilities for the event. Please use official local bike parking. Santander Cycle docking stations along the race route will be suspended for the day and therefore unavailable for use.
In preparation for the race, closures apply to parts of the Cycle Superhighway along the route, on Victoria Embankment, Westminster Bridge and Parliament Square.
If you're planning on taking National Rail to the start line, please visit the National Rail website for details of service alterations and journey planning. In the event that your journey is disrupted, we'll endeavor to allow runners to cross the starting line until 10:15.
